The Grand Finale (Not the One I Imagined)

Week 16

This is the final blog update, a lot has happened since the last time I wrote.

Firstly the pitch for Roohan went amazing. He loved all three of my logo concepts, and we even finalized one during the very first meeting! And as we all know that is an extremely rare occurrence. There are a few minor tweaks to make, but overall, it was a win.

But unfortunately, I will not be continuing with this agency. 

Despite being an internship, payment was promised. Every month, I’ve had to follow up multiple times to get it. For the last month of my internship, I still haven’t been paid. And honestly, it’s not about the money itself, it’s about the principle.

There’s zero organization here, and I’ve been pushed into work that isn’t even in my job description because I happen to know how to do it. And the cherry on top? When I followed up about my payment, I was ignored... then straight-up told to “f*** off.” 

So... that’s exactly what I’ll be doing.

It wasn’t all bad, though. I learned a lot—about working in a professional environment, about communication (and, you know, how not to communicate), and about setting boundaries. Working life is definitely hard, but at least now I know what to avoid in the future.

Final verdict: 10/10 would not recommend. 😅
